Risk warning

Updated

Trading forex, gold, indices and other contracts for difference (CFDs) is high risk. These products use leverage, which means you can lose money quickly, and you can lose all of the money you deposit. Most people who trade CFDs lose money. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.

Leverage

Leverage lets you open a position much larger than your deposit. It makes gains bigger, and it makes losses bigger by the same amount. A small move against you can wipe out a large part of your account.

Trade ideas and signals

Trade ideas, signals, courses and tools, whether on PlainPips or on Traders World, are educational. They are not personal recommendations and they don’t guarantee any result. Past results, win rates and examples describe what happened before, not what will happen next. Every trade you place is your own decision.

Execution

Prices can move fast, especially around news. Your order may fill at a different price than you expected (slippage), and a stop loss doesn’t always close at exactly your level. Trade ideas sent through messaging apps can arrive late.

Your broker

Your money is held by your broker, not by PlainPips or Traders World. Check which regulator covers your account in your country, what protection applies, and read the broker’s terms before you deposit. Bonus offers usually come with conditions.

Get advice if unsure

PlainPips doesn’t know your finances or goals. If you’re unsure whether trading suits you, talk to an independent, licensed financial adviser first.
